Jammu, Nov: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting to review the security situation in the Jammu Division, directing officials to stay alert to emerging threats, intensify intelligence-driven operations, and take the strongest possible action against terror sympathizers, Over Ground Workers (OGWs), and elements attempting to radicalize youth.
The meeting focused on the current security landscape and ongoing operations in the region. The Lieutenant Governor commended the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their swift response and meticulous investigation that led to the dismantling of a pan-India terror network.
“Our 360-degree approach to counter-terrorism marked by massive crackdowns on terror financing, narco-terror links, OGWs, and sympathizers is aimed at completely dismantling the support structure of terrorism. With coordinated efforts, we will ensure that the remnants of the terror ecosystem are wiped out from Jammu and Kashmir,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
He instructed officials to remain vigilant and prepared for emerging security challenges, emphasizing a strict Zero Tolerance Policy against terrorism. Sinha called for the strongest possible action against terror supporters, OGWs, and those attempting to radicalize young people.
He further directed agencies to intensify intelligence-led operations and closely monitor digital platforms being misused by terror outfits for radicalization and funding.

Gillani; Principal Secretary, Home, Chandraker Bharti; ADGP CID Nitish Kumar; Principal Secretary to the LG Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari; IGP Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti; Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar; IGP Traffic M. Suleman Choudhary; and senior officers including DIGs, Deputy Commissioners, and SSPs of the Jammu Division.
