Srinagar’s young soft tennis player Mohammad Qais has been selected to represent India at the 2nd Asian Junior Soft Tennis Championship 2026, scheduled to be held next month.
The selection marks a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, as Qais will be representing the country at the international level at a young age. A consistent performer, Mohammad Qais is a three-time gold medallist at the District Srinagar level and has also secured three gold medals at the UT level.
He has earlier represented Jammu and Kashmir (UT) at the national level, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport. His selection for the Asian Championship reflects his hard work and rising stature in Indian soft tennis.
