New Delhi, Mar 27 : Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), G. P. Singh, along with senior officers at headquarters, on Friday accorded a warm farewell to IG (Medical) Dr Partha Mitra on his superannuation after over 36 years of distinguished service.
Dr Mitra, who began his career with the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in 1990, served in various capacities across the country and later led the Composite Hospital (CH) Guwahati. His tenure was marked by dedication, professionalism and excellence in medical services within the force.
A recipient of prestigious honours including the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PMMS) and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM), Dr Mitra leaves behind a legacy of commitment and service.
The CRPF extended best wishes to him for a healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
