Dr Mohammad Momin Khan, Vice President of the All India Medical Students’ Association (AIMSA), Jammu & Kashmir, has written to the Indian High Commission in Russia seeking urgent intervention in the case of Gaurav, a 21-year-old MBBS student from Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir, who has reportedly gone missing in Russia.
Expressing serious concern over the student’s sudden disappearance, AIMSA has urged the High Commission to immediately coordinate with Russian authorities, local law enforcement agencies, and the concerned university to trace the missing student and ensure his safety.
The incident has caused deep anxiety among the family, who have appealed to the Central Government for help.
AIMSA emphasized that the safety and welfare of Indian medical students abroad must remain a top priority and called for swift and compassionate action in this matter.
