Srinagar :26 Dec 2025 BJP Co-Media Incharge Jammu and Kashmir, Sajid Yousuf Shah, on Thursday strongly condemned acts of hooliganism being carried out in the name of nationalism in Uttarakhand.
He said any form of physical or verbal assault against Kashmiri shawl sellers or students is unacceptable and criminal in nature, and must not be tolerated anywhere in the country.Shah asserted that those responsible for such acts should face strict action under the law.
Emphasising that Kashmiris are equal citizens of India with the same rights and dignity as everyone else, he said harassing or targeting them under the guise of nationalism is not patriotism but a disgrace to the very idea of the nation.
