Srinagar, 22 Dec, 2025: The Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmad Wani, today chaired an important review meeting with all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the Kashmir Division at the Directorate of School Education Kashmir to assess the overall functioning and progress of the School Education Department.
During the meeting, the Director issued clear directions on key administrative and academic matters, including issues related to teaching and non-teaching staff, training programmes, inspection and monitoring mechanisms, financial management, planning and overall departmental performance.
Emphasising administrative efficiency, Naseer Wani stated that timely disposal of files and cases is his top priority. He made it clear that no file should be delayed due to unnecessary or avoidable reasons and directed officers to ensure strict adherence to timelines.
The DSEK also reviewed the status of audits, expenditure patterns, Apex Budget, REVEX Budget and other financial matters. He instructed all concerned officers to ensure smooth execution of approved works and proper utilisation of funds within the stipulated timeframe, strictly in accordance with prescribed financial rules and guidelines.
The meeting was attended by Joint Directors Syed Shabir Ahmad, Kishore Kumar, and Muhammad Mushtaq, Personnel Officer DSEK Dr. Iqbal Hussain Mir, Chief Accounts Officer DSEK Zahoor Ahmad Khanday, all Chief Education Officers of the Kashmir Division and other senior officers of the department.
