Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday chaired a Cabinet meeting in Jammu to deliberate on several important administrative and developmental matters.
Sources said the meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and examined time-bound proposals linked to governance and public welfare. Official inputs indicated that the status of major works across various departments was assessed, with a focus on identifying bottlenecks and expediting schemes facing delays.
The Cabinet also discussed administrative approvals required for upcoming initiatives planned across different districts of the Union Territory.
During the meeting, ministers briefed the Chief Minister on department-wise performance, prevailing challenges, and progress made under ongoing programmes.
The deliberations primarily focused on improving service delivery, strengthening institutional frameworks, and ensuring the timely completion of public infrastructure projects.
More details regarding specific decisions taken at the meeting are expected to emerge later.
