SRINAGAR : Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 2.1°C, according to the Meteorological Department.
Pahalgam was the coldest place in the valley where the mercury settled at minus 3.8°C.
Director MeT Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said there is no forecast of any wet spell for the next week, adding that night temperatures will remain nearly the same till November 17.
He said a slight improvement in night temperatures is expected for two to three days after November 17. -(KNO)
